Car Accidents

If you or someone close to you has been seriously injured or killed in a car accident our experienced litigators can help you obtain the recovery you deserve. The claims process for car accidents is often confusing and frustrating. At the Law Offices of Iler & Iler our goal is take some of the confusion out of the process and guide you to a satisfactory resolution of your claim.

Unfortunately car accidents happen all of the time and while they occur with great frequency, no two car accidents are the same. At Iler & Iler, LLP we devote the time and attention necessary, to fully investigate each auto accident case we handle to ensure that our clients recover damages for medical expenses, lost wages, rental car costs and pain and suffering.

Sadly auto accidents can result in serious and catastrophic injuries; broken bones, concussions and lacerations to name a few. However the vast majority of auto accidents typically result in painful soft tissue injuries. Often, complaints of neck and back injury are caused by head-on or rear end collisions. These injuries, while less visible than a laceration or broken bone, can be just as serious. From a legal stand point it is also important that you document your injuries and physical complaints.

Important tips to keep in mind in case you are involved in a car accident:

  • If there are injuries or you feel any pain, call the police and have them make a report
  • Seek medical attention as soon as possible
  • If a police report is not made, exchange insurance and contact information with the other party/parties
  • Write down the name and contact information for all witnesses
  • Make note of the exact date, time and location of the accident
  • If possible, take photographs of:
  • The scene of the accident
